“Dear Family,

I was a high School classmate of David's. We played football together and before school, we help delivery milk. I will always remember his wit and smile. It was great to see him at our 50th class reunion. He was a great friend and man. May God grant you comfort. Ron Rossow”

“ Dave in his own special way was a very unique influence on those around him… though sometimes he seemed a little rough and gruff and frankly said what was on his mind he truly attempted to improve and teach those around him. He was a good man on this earth he had an understanding that he wasn't going to make a difference to somebody across the world on the other side of the ocean but he knew he could make a difference for those around him. I know I will not think of any gun show without thinking of Dave. I had the pleasure to enjoy his company on many occasion and thought highly of what he had to offer to the situation at hand . He will be missed . My condolence to his whole family and though he may no longer be walking among us he has left us with one of the greatest gifts of all some wonderful memories . I am very sorry for your loss .”
