Susan M. Miller, age 63, of Zearing, Iowa, died at her home on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

Memorial visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada.  Inurnment will be in Minnesota at a later date. 

Born July 10, 1954, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, Susan Marie Miller was the daughter of Oswald and Geraldine (Olson) Oren.  She grew up and attended school in Bricelyn, Minnesota. 

On June 24, 1989, Susan was united in marriage to Dale Miller at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.  The couple made their home near Colo in 2003.  Susan loved to bake and cook and spent many happy hours gardening and tending her beautiful flowers.  In earlier years, she enjoyed painting and sculpting.

Survivors include her husband, Dale; a son, Thomas (Tasha) Miller of Bricelyn, MN; two grandchildren, Clara and Carter; three brothers, Ove (Deb) Oren of Truman, MN,  and Tim Oren and Robert Oren, both of Bricelyn, MN; her mother-in-law, Dorine Miller of Wells, MN; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Reuben Miller.

Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Susan and her family.
