Frances Cram, age 72, of Osceola, Iowa, and formerly of Maxwell, Iowa, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, with visitation one hour prior to services. Pastor Terry Roberts officiated the service, with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Nevada. Condolences may be sent online to www.chetryanmortuary.com.
Born July 22, 1941, in Maxwell, Iowa, Frances Faye Cram was the daughter of Fred and Fern (Patterson) Burgess. She grew up in Maxwell where she graduated from high school. She was baptized at the Christian Church in Maxwell.
Frances was united in marriage to Marion Cram and was blessed with a son, David. Over the years, she worked as a clerk and stock person at various businesses in the area.
Survivors include her son, David Cram and special friend Brandy Slaybaugh of Osceola; three grandchildren, Mike Cram of Fort Dodge, and Lisa Cram and Jena Cram, both of Osceola; a brother, Jim (Kay) Burgess of Knoxville; a sister, Phyllis See of Osceola; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two grandchildren in infancy; her parents; and two sisters, Betty Nerness and Irene Burgess.
Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada was entrusted with the care of Frances and her family.
