“I knew Glenn when he was manager of The Cave Inn [bar] in the basement level on Welch Ave., the main street of Campustown of Ames, Iowa, in the early 1980's. My parents own the Cave Inn Building. I lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor. Dash [a nickname that all Glenn's friends called him] and Geno were fixtures at the Cave Inn. I'm not surprised that the brothers moved to California to seek careers in the entertainment industry. I located Glenn's obituary by doing a search on Glenn and Gene to know what they were doing. I was saddened to read of his untimely passing. My condolences are with Glenn's family ..... particularly Gene. I knew them for only a year or so. Both brothers were extremely well-liked. [Glenn's employer, my father, Bud, passed away 1-14-13 at 92].”
