“I was so sorry to learn that my mother's dear friend, Jean Starbuck, had passed. I cannot explain it, but Mrs. Starbuck made this visiting Illinois Bean family feel utterly welcomed in her home and loved! It was as if she were our Iowa mom! I know my mom loved Jean and her husband Darrell, and our family looked forward to seeing them and all their children when we would visit in the summer. Thank you, Jean! God's peace to you and your entire family. Fondly, Barbara (Bean) Marchi”

“Jean was a loving, caring Aunt and we loved her to pieces, She had a big heart, just like all the Starbucks, and raised up five awesome children who gave her beautiful grandchildren. She worked hard, and loved deeply and we are going to miss her smiles and hugs. Our love goes with her, until we meet again...
