“I realize that this note of condolence is coming long after Kurt's passing. Please accept my prayers and sympathies for Kurt's passing. Sadly, my mother Donna Ray died very recently after several months of declining health. She spoke with much love about the good memories she had of living side by side with Kurt and Nancy as my father Marion Ray and Kurt served in the Army. She was heartbroken when Nancy died and I know would have been just as heartbroken about Kurt's passing. Sincerely, Brenda Ray Scott (Donna's daughter)”

“I want to extend my sincere sympathy to you. I used to live in Eldora and Kurt worked at the shop I used to be at doing bookwork (Eischen Body Shop) and I really thought a lot of him. He was always very kind and we had many good conversations. Think heaven has got another good one and I'm glad I was able to get to know him in this life. With sincere sympathy and prayers.
