“Mary, Jim and Family. So so sorry about your Momma. She was a great lady who always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. I always ran into her and your Dad at Fareway. We would stop and visit and talk about you kids, she was so so proud of you all.”

“I am so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. When I was a kid, I lived on 16th Street in Nevada, right across from the Atkinson family home. Ann and I used to pal around together. Sue was a lovely human being. I don't think I ever heard her utter an unkind word. I will always remember her as kind, smiling, happy and a caring neighbor and friend. She was also a very loving wife and mom. (I'm sure she was an awesome Grandma, too!) To the Atkinson family: Please accept my deepest sympathy. I'm so very sorry for your loss. ”

“Dear Ann, Daly, Jim, Mary, Bill, and families: I'm so very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. She was a second mother to me in so many ways, and always treated me like a member of your family. She was always there for us, and I am sure that you will all miss her horribly. Were I in Iowa right now, I'd attend the services, of course. My thoughts are with you. Best wishes and love, Martha”

“Know Sue will be missed. I enjoyed my Quester time with her. Though new to Nevada, she made me feel part of the group. We shared an interest in flow blue plates. I will miss the time I had to learn new things from her. My thoughts are with her family. Fran Mauldin”
