“I am so sorry for your loss.
Lois was an amazing adult in my siblings and my little world. Lois would often times be waiting on the front porch for us kids as we trudged home from school. (We were next door neighbors on C Avenue.) She was angelic in her patience with us, willing to listen to all our chatter. And I can promise you, there may have been more than one talking at a time, but Lois caught and heard it all.
She and Glen would sit on their front porch, rocking in their porch swing, listening to us chatter as we shared what we thought was life's drama charged elementary school moments as we passed the evenings by. Even if they were watching television and we happened over, they would turn off the t.v. and come out to the porch to spend time with us. And they had all these funny little games and new the most clever rhythms. We were totally in awe of them.
They always had the most perfect gifts for us at Christmas. I remember getting my first jewelry box from Lois and Glen. It was pink and I absolutely loved it.
Lois, Glen too, are perfect examples of what an angel on earth is like. I know we thought they were the best! ”

“Lois and Glen lived next door to my family when I was a young child. They had a great front porch with a swing. We loved to go over and talk to them, sit with them. I remember when I turned 6 and told them I just couldn't wait to be 6. Lois wanted to know what was so special about being 6. I don't remember my answer, but she laughed. She taught us rhymes with finger motions. I have very fond memories of both of them. ”
