Gertrude Richie, age 87, of Ames and formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no local service at this time.

Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Gertrude and her family.
