“I love you, Dean. You and Dennis were more like brothers to Tobey and me than cousins. So many memories of you to cherish. Your gruff, growly persona at times did not hide your big heart and wonderful laugh. So thankful for our phone conversations over the past months. I will miss you, sweet boy. ”

“I don't even know where to start. The biggest thing about you was your heart. You didn't have to be a Dad to a step child, but you chose to be a wonderful, caring, encouraging, and loving father. Arriving at your house for the first time since your passing was harder than I could ever imagine. To see all the pictures of Autumn and I over the years was so heart warming. Going thru your things to find what we needed for the funeral home, extremely heart breaking. Knowing that in a few short days will be the very last time I will see you is so much more than heart breaking and I can't even put it into words. I thank God for you and your time with us and I am relieved that you are no longer sick or in pain. We miss U, LD (little dog) misses you and until we meet again I love u. ”

“Dean, my friend, we were nearly inseparable through high school. So many nights cruising and listening to tunes with Dennis in the Plymouth. Having a few beers when they were available. Whenever we got together later in life the laughs were always there. Life won't be the same for anyone you knew. Let's all help each other get through this as best we can. We will always miss him.”

“I guess I don't know where to start. You were the most positive part of my life. You had my back no matter what was going on. You always made me feel better about myself and never missed an opportunity to tell me how proud you were of me. It's because of you that I turned into the person I am today. If you weren't there to push me to do better things I would have never accomplished all of the things I have. I want everyone to know what a great man you were. I'm so glad the kids got to meet you and we got to spend time with you at Christmas. I love you, Dad and I will never forget you and all the great times we had. You were such an inspiration to me and a great influence on me. I will miss you sooo much. Until I see you again.....
To everyone else with a heavy heart right now I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope dad had a positive impact on your life and whenever you think of him you smile. If there is anything I can do to help you please feel free to let me know. Thank You.”
