“My dear aunt, friend and confidante life will be much different now. I've felt lost since you left but I know you are no longer in pain and for that I'm greatful. I'll never forget all the great times we shared and how we concluded if only we could run the world it would be a better place concerning politics, lol. I never got to tell you everything I wanted to and how I wish I would have stayed longer the last time I saw you. I wanted to thank you for being such a great loving person in my life and how you helped me be a better person. I know you know i loved you but I will miss telling you. I will keep in touch with Bruce and Pat for you. Rest now and be at peace. ”

“Bruce, Connie, Pat, LuAnn, and family,

My heartfelt sympathies to each of you on your mom, grandma, and sister's passing.

What a beautiful photo of Jean; she always looked like a million buck! Her hair was perfect; well-dressed, and she had such a wonderful, caring personality.

When I started my job as the Ames RME secretary 12.16.73, she was off with her cancer. When she returned, I got to know this terrific woman who became my friend. Everyone gathered at her desk to visit when she was so busy. But she wouldn't scoot any of them out of her office; couldn't say NO!!

Jean, Lois, and I learned how to operate a pc back then around 1985-86; we belly-laughed every day while we were teaching and learning from one another; 1 pc for 2 offices to share! UFFDA/oh my goodness big time!

RIP Jean; you'll be with Fred/family/friends again.

When you are missing her the most, put on a video/cd you have of her. Great hearing her voice/laughter and watching her mannerisms/gestures.”
