Memorial services for Glenn and Jeanne Reedholm were held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at First United Methodist Church in Nevada, Iowa, with Pastor Chris Waddle officiating. Burial followed in Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
Glenn (De-De) Reedholm was born January 21, 1922, in Lanyon, Iowa, and passed away October 31, 2012, in Burkburnett, Texas. Jeanne (Noni) Reedholm was born March 11, 1922, in Fairbury, Illinois, and passed away June 29, 2013, in Burkburnett, Texas. Glenn and Jeanne were longtime members of First United Methodist Church in Nevada. In 1986, they retired and sold Reedholm Hardware store after 60 years of operation. Desiring to be closer to their daughter and family, they moved in 1996 to Burkburnett, TX. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, April 23, 2012.
They are survived by a daughter, Margit Bale and son-in-law, Don, of Burkburnett, TX; four grandchildren, Tracy Flowers of Byers, TX, Angie (John) Robertson of Burkburnett, TX, Cory (Brent) Thompson of Randlett, OK, and John (Theresa) Bale of Burkburnett, TX; nine grandchildren, Chase (Katrina) Robertson of Keller, TX, Justin Robertson and fiancée Kristi Pickett of Houston, TX, Kaitlyn Robertson of Austin, TX, Braden Flowers of Byers, TX, Landon, Jaxx, Jayden, and Jacob Bale of Burkburnett, TX, and Skylar Thompson of Randlett, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada was entrusted with the care of Glenn and Jeanne and their family.
